30th January Birmingham
The show was kicked off by DJ Jae Murphy, the official DJ from Jason Derulo. He played a mix of Ellie Goulding, David Guetta, Justin Bieber, Drake and others. His set was followed by Aston Merrygold the former JLS singer who presented a lot of new songs.
Jason Derulo started his part of the show by getting the crowd right into it, kicking of with two old songs Trumpets and Wiggle followed by a video showing an interview. A few videos were projected on the stage through out the show to give the crew a little break while one also showed the importance for the artist behind the new album Everything is 4 (a reason) including the bad accident he had back in 2012.
The setlist contained songs from the new album but the old hits were not left out either. So did he bring a fan on stage during ‘It Girl’, had a jungle animation projected on the screens of the stage for ‘Don’t wanna go home’ and literally performed ‘The other side’ on the other side – the B-stage.
He had a full band on stage to interact with including Dj Murphy and of course his dance crew which turned the stage to Jasons dance floor.
